
Public-private partnership OZ Mikroregión RADOŠINKA is located in northwestern part of Nitra region on the territory of 11 villages in the basin of Radošinka river. Specifically, these villages are Zbehy, Jelšovce, Čakajovce, Alekšince, Lukáčovce, Čab, Nové Sady, Šurianky, Hruboňovo, Malé Zálužie and Kapince. Cadastral area of the microregion is 127.01 ha large and it is a part of two geomorphologic sections: Zálužianska pahorkatina and Bojnianska pahorkatina. In this microregion, there are 10,928 citizens and settlement density reaches 86 citizens/km2.
Agricultural land takes almost 89 % of total expanse of soil fund, the largest part is arable land (96 %) from this sort of land.
In nonfarm soil fund, the biggest part is represented by built-up area because of the fact that many business subjects with their production halls and their working areas settled in villages of Nitra region. Built-up area takes 50.9 % from the total. Water surfaces occupy 14.9 % of land in this microregion. Forest soil takes 21.9 % of total area of nonfarm soil fund.
Microregion´s territory has own typical characteristics, such as lucrative geographical location and closeness of the district town Nitra which is raising pole of a development. The other advantage is existence of business subjects in the land creating sufficiency working opportunities in all villages of the microregion, the third one is that this is a territory with various natural and geographic conditions.
Another positive aspect is an interest of inhabitants about keeping up the historical heritage and developing cultural potential by holding traditions such as folklore and singing groups, works of local working-men, artists and skilful people.
Developing potential of this land is bigger than can be seemed, for example in the field of tourist trade, the field of support of a human potential and then the field of development of traditional agricultural activities.
